40 Beauty Questions Tag!

Hello lovelies,

I thought I'd do a lil tag! I didn't actually get tagged, nor do I have anyone to tag (*cries*) but I just thought it'd be a fun thing to do! I've linked some of the products mentioned in case anyone is interested. Sooo here goes:

SKINCARE

- How many times do you wash your face daily? Twice, morning and evening!
- What skin type do you have? I think it's normal/oily, depending on the foundation I use. 
- What is your current facial wash? Senspa Relaxing Body Wash
- Do you exfoliate? Once a week
- What brand do you use? Senspa Detox Body Scrub
- What moisturizer do you use? Peter Thomas Roth Mega-Rich Body Lotion
- Do you have freckles? Nopeee
- Do you use eye cream? Only when I have awful under eye circles :(
- Do you or did you have acne prone skin? Nopeee
- Did you ever have to use Pro-activ? Nopeee

MAKE-UP

- What foundation do you use? At the moment I use Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum
- How about concealer? I use Jemma Kidd Touch Up Concealer  and MAC Select Cover Up
- Do you know your undertone color? Yep! I have yellow/warm undertones
- What do you think of fake eyelashes? I wouldn't wear them on an every day basis but I think they're okay for a night out or whatever ☺
- Did you know that you are suppose to change your mascara every 3 months? Yep, I do!
- What brand of mascara do you use? I have about 20 mascaras but my fave brands are L'Oreal or Maybelline
- Sephora or MAC? I don't have any Sephora items and only one MAC item so I'd have to say MAC haha
- Do you have a MAC Pro-card? Nopeee
- What makeup tools do you use in make up application? Real Techniques brushes, blender brushes, powder brushes and that's about it
- Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes? Yes, Urban Decay Primer Potion
- For the face? Either MUA Undress Your Skin Primer or L'Oreal Lumi Magique Primer
- What is your favorite eyeshadow (color or shade)? The Naked 2 Palette shade 'Suspect' 
- Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner? Liquid! I rarely use pencil
- How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil? When I use pencil it's a guarantee I'll poke myself hehe
- What do you think of pigment eyeshadows? Beautiful! But too messy for me haha!
- Do you use mineral makeup? Not really no
- What is your favorite lipstick? I am absolutely in love with L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Nude in Julianne's Nude!
- How about lipgloss? I rarely use lipgloss, it always gets caught in my hair ughhh
- What is your favorite blush to use? At the moment I'm in love with Bourjois Little Round Pot Blush in 48
- Do you buy your makeup on ebay? Nope, I'm too scared of getting scammed haha!
- Do you like drugstore makeup? The majority of my makeup is drugstore so yes definitely
- Do you go to CCO's? (cosmetic company outlets) Very rarely, but I love them!
- Did you ever consider taking make-up classes? Not really, I'll stick to youtube tutorials haha
- Are you clumsy in putting on makeup? I wouldn't say I am
- Name a makeup crime that you hate? Foundation lips :o
- Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick,eyeshadow) or neutral ones? Love both!
- Which celebrity always has great make up? Cheryl Cole and Kim K
- If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item,what would you use? Definitely mascara
- Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on? Yes, if I had to haha
- Do you think you look good even without any makeup on? I think I look a lot better with makeup on, but I wouldn't say I looked horrendous without 
- In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line? I assume this means brand? Haha er probably L'Oreal
- What do you think of Makeup? I love it! One of my favourite parts of the day is applying my makeup (as sad as that sounds) haha!

Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick Review

Hello lovelies.

Lately I have been loving wearing pink/coral shades on my lips, despite it being autumn... Oh well ☺
My favourite coral shade is the Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick in 910, 'Shocking Coral'.

This colour is INCREDIBLE. It is a beautiful mix of deep coral and pink and it is the perfect colour to go alongside a neutral eye look.

Okay so lets get to the technical bit...

• Longetivity - I'd say it lasts for maybe 3-4 hours before the colour starts to fade.

• Pigmentation - Really impressive pigmentation, you only need about 2 swipes to get the full colour payoff onto your lips.

• Scent - Kind of a soft vallina-ry scent, not a very strong scent which is good because last thing you want is smelly lips haha

• Finish - It has a lovely creamy finish.

Application wise, it slides so smoothly over the lips. The formula is extremely creamy which makes your lips feel moisturized and fresh. Here is what it looks like on my lips.

As you can see, the colour on the lips is a mix between pink and coral, as opposed to a uniform coral shade. I prefer this because it means that this lipstick will go with a more many more different types of looks and will suit a number of different outfits.

Overall, I am in LOVE with this lipstick. For the price, which here in the Uk is £7.19, I think it's a must buy. If corals aren't your thing, the Maybelline Colour Sensational range has a whole BUNCH of colours to choose from... 52 in fact. I'm sure that you'll find a colour you'll love! Not to mention this lipstick will last you a very long time. I'm definitely going to invest in a whole lot more haha.

Hellooo

Hello everyone..

Okay, so I have been wanting/meaning to make a beauty related blog for an extremely long time but I have never had the confidence to do so until now, sooo here I am basically haha ☺

I thought I'd do a quick introduction post just to let you all know a little bit more about me and all that jazz.

My name is Alexandra, I am seventeen and live in England. I am currently in my second year of sixth form (college), and I study English Lang/Lit, Spanish and Psychology.

I am half Spanish / half English and fluent in bothhhhhh

I enjoy watching anything crime drama related, my faves are probably CSI and Criminal Minds ☺☺

Music wise I like a lot of different artists, but my main faves are Alt-J, Lana del Rey and Gabrielle Aplin. I also like Bon Iver, Lauren Aquilina, Hudson Taylor, Luke Sital Singh and Ben Howard.

I love makeup and all things beauty related, hence I made this blog. I seem to spent most of my life watching youtube tutorials and reading beauty blogs so I thought why not make a blog for myself and here I am ☺
